Dental Restoration in St. Catharines

Your teeth can be vulnerable to damage from injury or decay. It’s important to have a trusted dental team who can repair damaged teeth and restore your smile. We work gently and quickly to ensure the restoration process is as relaxed and efficient as possible.

Fillings

A filling is used to restore a tooth damaged by decay. The filling restores the function, shape, and appearance of the damaged tooth. We provide several different types of fillings, including silver amalgam, tooth-coloured composite fillings, and durable gold fillings.

Crowns

Crowns are used to completely cover or “cap” a tooth that has been damaged or that has been restored with a root canal. They’re also used with dental implants to replace a tooth that has been lost. We provide crowns in a variety of materials, including tooth-coloured porcelain and ceramic crowns and strong and durable metal crowns to replace molars.

Inlays & Onlays

Inlays and onlays are also known as “indirect fillings.” They are used in the same way as fillings to restore a damaged tooth, but unlike fillings they are created in a dental laboratory and cemented in place. They are usually used to restore a tooth that needs additional structural support. Inlays are used to restore a tooth where the cusps are not damaged, and onlays are used to restore a tooth where the cusps have damaged and tooth’s biting strength needs to be restored.

Bridges

Bridges are a restoration for one or more missing teeth in a row. The bridge spans the space where the teeth are missing and consists of one or more artificial replacement teeth. They restore the function and appearance of your smile. Bridges also prevent the teeth adjacent to the missing teeth from shifting or becoming misaligned.
